One day in June, Juche 105(2016), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the newly-built Ryugyong Kimchi Factory early in the morning.

So delighted to be reported that the factory was under trial operation after completion he visited the factory in such early morning.

After exchanging warm greetings with officials there, he took the panoramic view of the factory for a good while repeating himself delightedly that "Ryugyong Kimchi Factory", the name of the factory, was so good.

Then he looked around the production process of the factory, acquainted himself in detail with it and pointed out the shortcomings.

He mainly stressed to put the production process on a germ-free and dust-free basis after learning about the conveyance of cabbage and radish needed for the kimchi production. He also instructed to sterilize the cabbage cutter on a normal basis.

After learning about the supply of condiments, he gave detailed instructions on putting it on an unmanned base.

And he said that the factory could be called an industrialized kimchi factory but not a standard one.

The officials were ashamed. Actually they felt satisfaction with the factory, thinking that it was well-built and its facilities were modern enough.

However, they hung their heads in shame because they failed to work true to the noble intention of the respected General Secretary who makes such solicitous efforts in order to provide our people with thoroughly sanitary kimchi.

That day, the General Secretary dropped in at the aging room and mainly stressed on the need to completely separate the production site from corridor.

Thanks to such ardent love of the General Secretary for the people, the Ryugyong Kimchi Factory was transfigured beyond recognition within half a year.
