A persimmon tree is one of the fruit trees cultivated by the Korean people from ancient times.

The persimmon in the area of Anbyon, Kangwon Province, which is known as a locality where persimmon trees grow well, is called Anbyon sweet persimmon and is popular throughout the country for its sweet taste.

The persimmon is good for people’s health as it contains sugar, organic acid, protein, vitamin C and many other ingredients.

The leaves of a persimmon tree are used for the prevention and treatment of various diseases including hypertension and diabetes.

The Anbyon persimmon is now a part of the people’s diet.
