Two Commanding Officers Moved to Tears

Politics 2023.3.21.

The following is an impressive story about the warm loving care for ordinary commanding officers of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) shown by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

One day, the General Secretary visited a unit of the KPA. Commanding officers and soldiers of the unit were very happy to have an honor of meeting the respected Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un.

At that time the company commander and political instructor of a sub-unit were absent.

After going round different parts of the unit headquarters, the General Secretary entered the sub-unit barrack. Being aware of the absence of the company commander and political instructor, he cast his eyes on accompanying officials.

An official of the unit hesitated for a while before saying that they were in bed with a cold.

Then the General Secretary said that he should meet the company commanders lest they should feel regret.

Looking up to the General Secretary the officials were very uneasy.

At that time the General Secretary expressed his will to meet them although they were in bed with severer illness than cold.

So, the company commander and instructor came to the place with impressive tears.

Warmly welcoming them with a broad smile on his face, the General Secretary suggested going round the company together.

At the moment, the two commanding officers buried their faces in the bosom of the General Secretary.

Patting on the shoulders of the sobbing commanding officers, the General Secretary kindly said they should take care of health in the future.

With a bright smile on his face, he went round their company together with them.

The company commander and instructor followed his steps with tearful eyes.

The impressive tears of the two commanding officers are, indeed, the eruption of gratitude for the great love of the General Secretary and expression of their emotion that the General Secretary embraces all the servicepersons of the Korean People’s Army.
