Party members and working people across the country are briskly assisting the steel front.

In the first quarter of the year alone, a large amount of scrap iron were sent to metal plants across the country.

Officials of Jagang and North Phyongan provinces conducted political work among masses to encourage them to support the steel front. At the same time, they grasped the conditions of scrap iron securement in cities and counties in a regular way and aroused masses up to tap out resources.

Kaesong, Nampho and Pyongyang cities, South Hwanghae, North and South Hamgyong provinces exerted themselves to send more scrap iron to metal plants.

In Pyongyang City, Mangyongdae, Rangnang, Songyo, Phyongchon and Central districts and other districts distinguished themselves in gathering scrap iron.

The railway sector has transported the scrap irons gathered from all parts of the country to the metal plants in time.

The enthusiasm for supporting the steel front keeps raising in the country.
