From January to April, over 580 Party members and workers volunteered to work at socialist agricultural fields true to the Party’s intention to accelerate the revolution by dint of loyalty and patriotism.
Rim Chol Jin, a worker of Kusong City Forest Management Station, keeping in mind the intention of the Party Central Committee which set the attainment of the grain production goal as the first target of the 12 major goals for the national economic development, volunteered to work at the Unyang Farm in Kusong City and contributed to solving the technical problems arising in the dry-field irrigation project.
Ri Myong Jin, a worker of the Taeryonggang Road Repair and Management Corps in Taegwan County, and his wife volunteered to work at the Taean Farm in Taegwan County and took charge of a hectare of infertile field.
Over 160 working people of North Phyongan Province volunteered as farmers to devote themselves to the socialist agricultural fields.
More than 120 working people in North Hwanghae Province including Kim Song Ho, a worker of the Hwangju County Condiment Factory, and Ri Hye Suk, a worker of the afforestation office in Yonsan County, volunteered for devotion to the socialist rural area.
In South Hwanghae Province, 100-odd working people also volunteered to work at farms with mind to repay the respected General Secretary
Among them are Ri Myong Hui, a resident in the 88th neighborhood unit in township of Yonan County who volunteered to work at the Chonghwa Farm in Yonan County, and Ri Kyong Sim, a worker of the Haeju Kimchi Factory who went to the Oguk Farm in Anak County.
With determination to become a genuine patriotic farmer, Kim Jong Hyok, a worker of the Kyongsong Electric Appliances Factory, and his family volunteered as farmers in the Rakphyong Farm, Hoeryong City and over 90 workers volunteered as farmers in North Hamgyong Province.
In addition, many Party members and working people in Jagang, Kangwon, Ryanggang provinces and Nampho and Kaesong cities have volunteered for devotion to farm villages with patriotic mind to think of the state affairs before their household affairs.
Such deeds are the manifestation of ardent loyalty and noble patriotism of our people who find themselves worth living in devotion to the country.
