Slogans, watchwords and posters reflecting the idea and spirit of the 8th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) have been displayed in different parts of the DPRK to give confidence in victory to all the officials, Party members and other working people out in the struggle for implementing the Party’s resolutions.
Among them are visual aids calling on everyone to turn out in the struggle for successfully carrying out the tasks for the third year that is of key importance in fulfilling the five-year plan advanced by the 8th Party Congress.
Some of them reflect the idea that full play should be given to the mental strength of all the people in the ongoing great struggle to bring about a fresh surge in the Korean-style socialist construction, as well as the Party policy on making achievements of significance in consolidating the foundations for the self-supporting economy.
Some of the visual aids reflect the Party’s call for updating the country’s educational structure to give advanced education and improving the educational contents and methods in keeping with the global trend of educational development and the policy tasks for the working masses to fully exercise their responsibility and rights as genuine masters of the state and society and for consolidating and developing the democratic election system based on the principle of centralism.
There are also visual aids calling for harvesting all earlier crops in time and preventing damage by the disastrous abnormal weather.
