Soldiers and University Students

Many students of Kim Chaek University of Technology do laudable deeds to assist soldiers of the Korean People’s Army.

Among them is Cha Ye Gyong, a student at the Faculty of Information Science and Technology. She has frequently heard stories about KPA soldiers who displayed heroism in the battles on Height 1211 and Height 351 from war veterans since she was a member of the Korean Children’s Union.

The stories of the victorious wartime generation implanted her mind the truth that the strong country guarantees our happiness. Cha Ye Gyong has sent encouraging letters and aid materials to soldiers of the KPA scores of times for over 10 years.

Kim Ja Song, a student of the same faculty, has also sent a lot of aid materials including good flower shrubs and flower seeds to KPA soldiers.

Ri Yu Jin, a student of the Faculty of Heat Engineering, and many other students of the university devote their sincerity to soldiers who defend the country, bearing in their minds that positive assistance to the KPA is the expression of patriotism.

Our future is rosy as there are many reliable youths with high enthusiasm for helping the KPA.

At that time her husband learned through the Party’s paper that Chairman Kim Jong Il inspected a unit of the KPA. He, who always recollected his soldier-period, suggested doing good things for the soldiers of the unit who delighted the Chairman.

So, Ri Jong Suk and her husband sent a lot of aid materials to the soldiers of the unit next day.
