Congratulatory Letter to Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un from Chongryon Central Standing Committee

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory letter from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on July 27, the 70th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
The great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung aroused the army and people of the DPRK to the sacred war for defending the country and overpowered the enemies’ numerical and military technical superiority with his unique military idea, outstanding strategies and tactics and rare commanding art, thus humbling the arrogance of the U.S. imperialists and working military miracles to be recorded forever in the human history of wars, the letter said, and went on:
The great Generalissimo Kim Jong Il resolutely frustrated the moves of the imperialists and reactionaries to isolate and stifle the DPRK, under the uplifted banner of Juche and Songun for more than half a century and thus glorified the history and tradition of war victory generation after generation.
The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un has trained the Korean People’s Army into an invincible revolutionary army and bolstered up the world’s strongest self-defensive capabilities to glorify the DPRK as a powerful country no one can provoke and to lead the confrontation with the U.S. to victory.
The great spirit of defending the country created in the days of fierce war serves as a proud tradition of loyalty and patriotism to be invariably carried forward by the Korean residents in Japan generation after generation together with the people in the homeland.
We will more thoroughly establish the monolithic leadership system of Kim Jong Un within Chongryon and consolidate as firm as a rock it into a powerful Juche-based overseas compatriots’ organization with the single-minded unity of Chongryon ranks and the inexhaustible strength of the compatriots from all walks of life.
The letter sincerely wished Kim Jong Un good health for the victorious advance of the revolutionary cause of Juche and the patriotic cause of Chongryon and for their rosy future.
