Ri Yong Suk is a teacher of Ponbu Kindergarten of Sinuiju City affiliated to Sinuiju Teacher Training College. She is a competent teacher who devotes herself to finding buds of talents among children in time and cultivating them.

In a few years alone, children of the kindergarten won gold medals and prize-winning certificates in the national pencil-drawing contests and calligraphy contests of children respectively. These are unthinkable apart from her painstaking efforts.

She has passionately applied various kinds of advanced education methods including abacus, sound detection and sight reading, education in foreign languages and robotics to instruction and edification to develop intellectual faculties of children and cultivate their talents. Thanks to her efforts, many children gave full play to their genius and grew up into talent reserves.

Though she sometimes felt tired, she took it as a matter of course to become root and manure for the rising generations.

She is now called "our teacher" by the children and their parents.

She was selected as one of the best teachers for 2022 in DPRK.
