Meetings took place in Pakistan, Thailand, Norway, Denmark, Belarus, Finland, DR Congo, Libya and Peru from July 21 to 27 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Korean people’s victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Speeches were made at the meetings attended by personages of governments, political parties, organizations and institutions and masses of those countries.

A senator of Pakistan, the chairman of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee and the chairman of the Pakistan Association for Self-Reliance Studies said that the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War taught the world people the truth - when all the people fight, united close around their leader as one, they can honorably defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country.

The chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway highly praised President Kim Il Sung as an outstanding military strategist and iron-willed commander as he led the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War to victory, humbling the arrogant U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world and demonstrating the dignity of heroic Korea to the world.

The chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association said that thanks to the Juche-oriented military idea, strategy and tactics and extraordinary leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the Korean people could win the fierce war.

The international secretary of the Finnish Communists’ League stressed that the exploits of President Kim Il Sung for the war victory will shine forever.

The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus and members of the Belarus National Association of Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the Belarusian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK said that July 27, the war victory day of the Korean people, was an event of great significance as it added a brilliant page to the history of the heroic struggle of the Korean people.

The chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Democratic Congo praised Kim Il Sung as a peerlessly legendary hero, ever-victorious brilliant commander and the sun of the 20th century as he led the Korean people to create the great myth of war victory.

Congratulatory messages to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the celebration meetings held in Denmark, Belarus and DR Congo.
