One August day several years ago, the respected General Secretary
When he visited Sinchon County, he went to the region which had been badly damaged by the typhoon, though the road was rough.
Seeing the greenhouses and dwelling houses damaged by the typhoon, the General Secretary said that it would be difficult for South Hwanghae Province to repair the damage on its own and added that materials including vinyl chloride sheets needed for repairing the damage should be sent to the province.
Accompanying officials could hardly repress their emotion.
That day the General Secretary gave precious instructions to the officials that they should share weal and woe with the people and encourage them when the people are in distress and suffering the damage.
The officials were deeply touched while listening to the General Secretary who works heart and soul for the people and always takes warm care of our people with fatherly affection.
Seeing Pile of Potatoes
In Oct. Juche 107 (2018), the General Secretary visited the Samjiyon Farina Production Factory.
That day, the General Secretary, seeing the pile of potatoes, expressed great satisfaction.
The General Secretary said with beaming smile on his face that it looked as if big gravels were piled up and it was a mountain of potatoes.
After a while he said delightedly that the scene of potatoes piled in heaps would be incomparable with beautiful scenery of Mt Kumgang.
Thanks to the General Secretary who regards the people’s happiness as the most valuable thing and devotes his all to the people’s happiness, the well-being of the people is improving day by day.
