Foreign personages issued statements and articles on August 23 and 25 to mark the 63rd anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s start of guidance on the revolutionary armed forces.

Sylvere Boswa Isekombe, general secretary of the Communist Party of the DR Congo, said in a statement that the exploits of H.E. Kim Jong Il who ushered in a new heyday of bolstering up the military muscle and advanced the socialist cause to victory by dint of arms are shining along with the history of building the Juche-based revolutionary armed forces.

The chairperson of the Mongolian Centre for the Study of Juche posted an article "August 25 to be eternally recorded in history", which praised the immortal military guidance exploits of Kim Jong Il.

Marwan Sudah, chairman of the Arab Committee for Solidarity with Korean People and Supporting the Reunification of Korea, Samir Diyab, chief of the Lebanese Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, and Saber Ballul, former dean of the Political Faculty of University of Damascus of Syria, in their statements praised the exploits Kim Jong Il performed by leading the DPRK to victory in the fierce confrontation with the U.S. with his pluck and courage as brilliant commander.
