According to the data of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea, more than 80 units across the country were awarded the title of Model Technical Innovation Unit.

10-odd units were awarded the title of Thrice Model Technical Innovation Unit. Among them are the Man’s Socks Workshop of the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory, Matured Fowl Workshop No.2 of the Mangyongdae Chicken Farm and the Workshop No.1 of the Sopho Chicken Farm which have conducted the technical innovation movement vigorously.

Over 20 units including the Fattening Workshop No.2 of the Tudan Duck Farm and the Anju Shoes Factory were awarded the title of Twice Model Technical Innovation Unit.

More than 30 units including the Ferroalloy Production Workshop No.2 of the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex, the Pyongyang Jonghyang Building Materials Factory and the Ryonmot Trolleybus Station were newly awarded the title of Model Technical Innovation Unit.

The news adds great vigor to the struggle for providing a decisive guarantee for the fulfillment of the five-year plan.
