On September 10 thousands of young people in the capital city came to the county to help the maize harvesting. This encouraged the fighting spirit of county officials and farm workers.
The county officials, conscious of their position and duty in concluding this year’s farming successfully, command the work for finishing the maize harvesting in the short span of time, true to the idea and spirit of the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee.
Under the guidance of the county Party committee the county agricultural management committee set the daily plan for harvesting and ensured that all the units carried out it without fail.
Officials and farm workers of the Samjon, Kupho, Jangchon and Kumsok Farms made a vigorous struggle for harvesting with unusual preparedness and thus concluded the harvesting till Sept. 8.
Amid the heightening atmosphere of collective emulation a lot of success is being made in harvesting in many farms including the Ryongchon, Ryonggung and Taedong farms.
