Family of the five coalminer brothers has a good family tradition, that has worked at a coal mine of the Kaechon Area Coal-Mining Complex generation after generation.

It is that to repay the benevolence of the country, one should be the eldest son of the country who shoulders the heaviest burden and should follow only the road of patriotism generation after generation.

Their father devoted his all to coal production. He regarded the coal production more precious than the his happiness and his family and ensured that all his sons became the coal miners. By doing so, he wanted to fulfill his duty as the eldest son of the country.

Carrying on the fine family tradition of love for and devotion to the country, his family has performed the proud feats at the coal mine for three generations with the single mind to devote their all to the prosperity of the country.

In our country there are a lot of families like them including Jo Nam Su’s family who brought up their children as the Korean People’s Army officers, the family of Kim Myong Chol whose family members worked in the building sector for three generations, the family of Kang Yong Su who devoted their all to forestation and so on.

Such fine families, in which not only the fraternal affection but also the ardent love for the country overflow, are, indeed, the genuine patriotic families in our era.

When every generation adds beauty to the country with their feats and virtues and hands down the patriotic spirit to the rising generation, the country will advance faster and its dignity will shine forever.

As the patriotic families increase day by day, our Republic will prosper and be powerful forever.
