Economy 2023.11.1.

Officials and agricultural workers of South Phyongan Province achieved successes in this year’s grain production.

The year-end account settlement and income distribution for summing a rich harvest took place in different farms of the province.

This proud reality is unthinkable without the leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who took measures for bringing about a radical change in agricultural work and led the agricultural workers to successfully attain the goal for this year’s grain production.

The officials, Party members and working people in the agricultural field of the province exerted themselves to repay the trust and loving care of the respected General Secretary with the increased grain production.

The officials of the province led the farm work in a scientific way, keeping in mind their duties to the Party and revolution.

The province mobilized the working people in the work for producing more manure than last year’s.

The officials and working people of the Songryong Organic Compound Fertilizer Factory produced more than 400 tons of multi-nutrients for rice seedlings by the end of March and supplied them to cities and counties of the province.

In particular, true to the Party’s intention to increase the proportion of the farm work done by machines, the province provided 300 rice-seeding transplanters to farms, thus ensuring that rice seedlings could be transplanted at the right time.

The province also pushed ahead with the work for harvesting without any loss.

The province concluded the threshing successfully by 29 October.

There took place the settlement of accounts and income distribution successively at Jasan Farm and Samhwa Vegetable Farm of Phyongsong City, Ponghak Vegetable Farm under the Provincial Rural Economy Committee and many other farms of the province.

Now the officials and agricultural workers of the province are full of confidence that they will reap bumper harvest next year, too, as they are guided by the respected General Secretary.
