Letter from Person of Wartime Merit
One day early in November, we visited the Sci-Tech Complex and came to see a letter sent to the Party organization.
Written in the letter was a story of laudable deed of Jin Thae Ryong, an engineer of its management office, who has taken care of Kim Sok Jun, a person of wartime merit living in Kaeson-dong, Moranbong District, with brotherly affection.
It was several years ago when Kim formed a relation with Jin.
One day a young couple called on Kim who was in hospital.
They were Ri Ji Hyang and her husband Jin Thae Ryong working in the same workshop with Kim’s daughter.
During a conversation for a long time with them, Kim became familiar with them as one family.
Since then, Ri and Jin have looked after Kim’s health and life attentively.
They often visited him on holidays and rest days with special dishes and seasonable new clothes.
An official of a sub-primary Party organization of the complex told us that not long ago, a disabled soldier living in Jonu-dong, Moranbong District sent to the organization the thankful letter conveying the deed of Jin.
In the letter, the disabled soldier did not know the fact that Jin was also visiting Kim’s house.
And then the official concluded by saying that whenever seeing many letters sent to the Party organization, he was deeply moved by the noble spirit of our youths trained by our Party.
Harmonious Family
Ji Hyon Sun’s family living in the neighborhood unit No. 32 of the Kumsan workers’ district in Jaeryong County is large one but it is well known as harmonious one in the village.
She shows the deepest attention and greatest devotion to her parents-in-law.
Ji always pays deep attention to their health and is used to spending her busy time to do housework.
Kim Yong Hwa, the mother-in-law of Ji often says that she is blessed with daughter-in-law.
Whenever everyone praises Ji, she says that it is her due mission as daughter-in-law to take care of mother-in-law well.
Among the family members are also parentless children who are taken by Kim to the house many years ago.
Ji takes warm care of them with motherly mind instead of Kim.
And she gets along with neighbors well while helping each other and sharing delight and sorrow with them.
Such pictures show well the genuine looks of our-style socialist system harmonious with virtue and love.
Bright Light of Dormitory
A few days ago, officials and teachers of Wonsan Ri Su Dok Teachers Training College including its Rector Kim Ok visited the rooms of boarders.
It was an unbreakable daily task of the university officials and teachers to take care of their life.
That day, too, they gave school things and necessaries of life to boarders and asked them about their life and health with parental affection.
Once the rector gave precious medicines to a student who was suffering from a serious illness and the teaching staff devoted their sincerity to providing the boarders with more dishes.
Thanks to their sincerity, the students study harder to be excellent educators in the near future.
