Officials and working people of the Chonnaeri Cement Factory laid the material and technical foundation capable of increasing cement production 1.5 times than before by finishing the large project for expanding production capacity.

The Ministry of Construction and Building Materials Industry pushed forward with the project for expanding production capacity of the Chonnaeri Cement Factory after setting it as one of the important tasks for implementing our Party’s plan for grand construction.

The cement factory formed a commanding force with able officials and rationally organized manpower while tapping out internal reserves.

Workers and technicians of the factory manufactured 10-odd facilities with their own efforts and made sure that they can produce more raw materials and clinkers after establishing fire-brick production process with high-temperature air combustion technique.

Meanwhile, the Sunchon Cement Complex concluded the project for rubber-belt bucket elevator extension.

Officials of the complex set the target for modernization of the conveyer-system and scientifically and technically led the project in close connection with the Ministry of Construction and Building Materials Industry.

The complex finished the project in a short span of time and further raised the speed of conveying of raw materials to improve capability of cement-kiln. It also concluded the general overhaul of the clinker-crusher in only four months.

The construction of a new stone-processing base of big capacity was in its final stage by the detailed plan of operation by the Ministry of Construction and Building Materials Industry and strenuous efforts of workers and technicians of the Kangson Industrial Construction Company and other units.

The Taean Friendship Glass Factory also built the production process of truck inspection-hole glass and the production process of heat-proof glass by their own efforts and techniques.

The workers and technicians of the Taean Friendship Glass Factory continuously increase the glass production.

The Taean Heavy Machine Complex and other relevant units sincerely aided the works for adjustment and improvement propelled by the construction and building materials industry sector.
