It has been four years since the medical workers of the ophthalmic section of the Ryanggang Provincial General Hospital came to know a disabled soldier Ri Un Chol, living in Hyesan City.

During the regular checkup four years ago, Choe Kwang Su, head of the section, and Ri Kwang Il, a doctor of the section, found that the disabled soldier had a chronic disease; however he trifled with his disease saying that he could treat the disease by himself.

Seeing the disabled soldier, the medical workers were again aware of their duty and devoted their sincerity to the patient.

They called on the disabled soldier, taking tonics good for his health and foodstuffs with them.

They also explained how to use medicine and common sense about the chronic disease.

Now the medical workers find their life-worth and happiness in devoting themselves to the people’s health promotion.
