Some time ago we visited the Korean Art Association of the Disabled.

Entering the training room for vocalists, we saw a youth singing a song while playing the piano. He was Choe Jin Bom. An official accompanying us said that the art group members of the association could play more than 2 musical instruments thanks to our Party’s policy on protection of the disabled.

We talked with Choe after his song.

During his childhood he had a dream to be an artiste. So, when he was injured by an unexpected accident, the most painful thing tormented him was the fact that he could not stand on the stage.

At then he was benefitted by the warm care of our socialist system. An official of the Korean Art Association of the Disabled visited him.

The association made efforts to let him learn how to play a musical instrument and therefore, he was sent to the Pyongyang Schoolchildren’s Palace.

At the end of the talk Choe said that he would make a boast of our Party and the socialist country to the world in the future, too.

We also met An Ryu Song who suffered from sight trouble. He said that the socialist country provided him with delight of life and let him picture the bright future.

Other disabled art group members were also developing their talents to their hearts’ content.

The official of the association said that when the art group put on the show on tour they were questioned whether they were the disabled. And they keenly felt again the benevolence of the Party.

Indeed, our socialist country is the benevolent one which turns all dreams of people into reality.

We heard the song "We Are the Happiest in the World" the disabled art group members sang there.

The song "We Are the Happiest in the World" is indeed the expression of their gratitude toward our Party and the socialist country.
