Taekwon-Do is the orthodox martial art showing the Korean nation’s spiritand stamina.

Taekwon-Do, which has been encouraged and developed by the Korean nation amid their assiduous working life and struggles against foreign aggressors, is based on mental training and scientific principles.

It reflects the Korean nation’s bold inclination and constitutional character; it is well-known to the world for its great power and peculiar techniques.

Thanks to the Party which shows deep concern to the development of Taekwon-Do, the Taekwon-Do Hall and the Taekwon-Do Holy House were splendidly built in Pyongyang, capital city of the DPRK, and lots of people learn Taekwon-Do.

Numbers of Taekwon-Do reserve players are trained in extracurricular education bases for the youth and children which were built across the country and families who play Taekwon-Do are increasing in number.

Now, Taekwon-Do is disseminated as a popular sport in our country and the Taekwon-Do players of the DPRK display its honor of being the home of Taekwon-Do at international games.
