Kaesong Municipality has made a series of successes in the land management.

True to the intention of the Workers’ Party of Korea to facelift the appearances of land by steadily conducting the land management, the municipality has put big efforts into taking measures for supplying labor, material and machinery on the basis of working out the stepwise plans practically.

While powerfully waging an instigation offensive for arousing the masses to implementing the Party policy, its officials assigned detailed tasks to each unit and rationalized manpower allotment.

The municipal land and environment protection management bureau significantly organized the showing and intensifies the organizational work and technical guidance for carrying out the assigned tasks in a qualitative way.

The units in charge of road construction and repair have pushed ahead with the construction of bridge piers and the road pavement projects by concentrating forces and means on them to ensure safety and cultural traits.

Similar successes were made in Kaephung and Panmun districts.

The officials and working people in factories and enterprises including Kaesong Textile Mill and Kaesong Essential Foodstuff Factory, keeping in mind that the land management is an aspect of economic construction and is an essential work for guaranteeing the safety of the people’s life and state development, promoted the work for paving the road, cleaning out waterway, repairing revetment and installing protective piles qualitatively.

Meanwhile, the units in the fields of the protection of national heritage strive to preserve the historical relics in their original state in a responsible manner while improving the ecological environment of surroundings.
