Personally Guiding Design on Spot
One September day in Juche 101(2012) the respected General Secretary
That day the respected General Secretary spread a design he personally brought on the spot. It was one of designs which were selected at a meeting for a joint review of entries in the prize contest to submit to the respected General Secretary.
Saying that officials used their brains a lot to make designs in a peculiar way, he appreciated that the design was well made. And he taught the method to correct some defects and stressed some issues which should not be missed in designing: the issue of effectively using interior area in technical designing; the issue of covering the exterior wall with building stone; the issue of laying the middle part of education ground with turf and rearranging the trees planted in its surrounding; the issue of forming wide field by forming the bridge between the main building of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum and a large-sized panorama hall showing the Taejon liberation operation.
That day the respected General Secretary highlighted all ways and methods to build the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum as a comprehensive educational base and a great open-air museum in a short span of time.
The Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum was built into a monumental edifice of the era thanks to the devoted efforts of the respected General Secretary who inspected the design on the spot and gave tens of field guidance and hundreds of instructions.
Best Idea He Personally Indicated
The respected General Secretary
He paid a deep attention to peculiarly forming the front gate of the Central Zoo.
He had already initiated to build the front gate of the main building for giving general idea and common sense about animals to people in conformity with world trend.
However, designers were troubled with the matter how to depict the front gate.
After learning about the situation the General Secretary on the spot of reconstruction informed the designers of a clue and indicated the method of depicting the gate.
The front gate should be built in such a way as to preserve well the features of the zoo, he noted, adding that the entrance would be depicted as a tiger’s mouth agape.
His instruction was the best idea.
The designers who received his instruction on a creative impulse depicted a tiger’s mouth agape. Then the sculpture of a tiger’s head was built in the central part of the main building. It seems like a tiger hidden in the forest.
Like this, the front gate of the Central Zoo was peculiarly built under the careful guidance of the respected General Secretary.
