A wonderful village has appeared at the Kumchon Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang Municipality, associated with the leadership exploits of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).
The new village, built in a cozy and peculiar way with distinct features of socialism, is a cradle of happiness associated with the energetic guidance and benevolence of the respected Comrade
Present at the celebration ceremony were Ri Myong Chol, secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, officials of the Party and government organs in Mangyongdae District, builders and agricultural workers of the farm.
Ho Ju Song, vice-chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People’s Committee, in his congratulatory speech warmly congratulated the agricultural workers on moving into the cradles of happiness symbolic of the new era of the Korean-style rural development.
The licenses for the use of houses were awarded and speeches were made at the ceremony.
Then, moving into the new houses began amid the display of merry dancing and officials visited families to give them living necessities and congratulate them.
