The Haeju Branch of the Institute of Pomiculture of the Academy of Agricultural Science of the DPRK was built and inaugurated with due ceremony in the DPRK.
The comprehensive pomiculture research base equipped with scientific research and living conditions including research rooms, laboratories and an exercise room will provide another material and technical foundation for dynamically leading the development of fruit farming in South Hwanghae Province.
Attending the inaugural ceremony held on the spot on Monday were Kim Chol Min, secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials and working people in Haeju City and employees of the branch.
Won Kyong Mo, chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial Rural Economy Committee, made an inaugural address.
