Some days ago the national school contest took place amid the attention and expectation of officials, educators, students and their parents.
Hundreds of excellent students from across the country attended the contest and competent educators of universities and senior middle schools No.1 in Pyongyang Municipality examined the contest.
During the contest all the participants displayed their ability to the full.
Many students obtained satisfactory results in the contest by correctly grasping the requirement of the problems in mathematics, physics, chemistry and IT subjects and solving them with logical thinking.
Students from Nampho Municipality won the first place in mathematics; Pyongyang Municipality physics; North Hwanghae Province chemistry; Kangwon Province IT subject.
The contest highlighted the necessity of organizing the operation of various school circles in conformity with the ages and psychological features of the students and strengthening the practical training education further and heightened the enthusiasm for emulation among schools.
The students taking part in the contest made firm pledge to prepare themselves as world-famous inventors and scientists by devoting their wisdom and enthusiasm, not content with the success achieved in the contest.
