A terrapin breeding base has been newly built at the Paechon Catfish Farm in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.

The base provides material and technical foundations for putting the breeding of tasty and nutritious terrapin on an industrial and intensive basis.

Kim Yong Chol, chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People’s Committee, Mun Kwang Hyon, secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and other officials of the province and Paechon County looked round the completed terrapin breeding base.
