The following happened last November at the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex.

Mun Il Hyok, vice-leader of the furnace workshop No. 2 could not leave the workshop easily after his work, feeling that he missed something.

Then he saw the workers of next shift preparing for work. Just at that moment the idea that they could not complete the repair of the furnace came across his mind. He inquired until when the repair work should be done for tapping.

After grasping the detailed information he buckled down to the repair work rolling up his sleeves.

Looking at his figure, Jang Sung Hyok and his shift members came to the work place and joined the work. All of them are ruled by the thought that the furnace should be repaired as soon as possible.

That day Mun Il Hyok and his shift members made success of accelerating the tapping time by devoting their rest.

Looking at the scene of tapping satisfactorily, they realized again that nothing is impossible when they pool their minds and wits.

With Fraternal Affection

Not long ago a patient left the Kim Man Yu Hospital.

He was O Se Hyon, residing in People’s Neighborhood Unit No. 16 of Samsang-ri, Phihyon County. He was sent to the hospital some months ago after receiving a diagnosis of an incurable disease.

The hospital held a consultation meeting and discussed the treatment method. The patient was in a critical condition; however, the medical workers of the hospital buckled down to the treatment with firm determination to cure the patient without fail by following the examples of medical workers in the Chollima era.

Kim Un Hui, doctor in charge of his treatment, made constant efforts to find out new treatment method suitable to the patient and took care of him day and night.

Not only Kim Un Hui, but also other medical workers pooled their wits and enthusiasm for resuscitation of the patient. They provided the tonics and nutrient foods to the patient with fraternal affection.

Thanks to the sincerity of the medical workers of the hospital, O Se Hyon came to be revived at last. On the day of leaving hospital O Se Hyon shed tears, holding hands of medical workers.

Indeed, such scene is a touching one which can be found only in our socialist system that values the life of human the most.
