Jagang Province of the DPRK is actively supporting the steel industry in hearty response to the resolutions of the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

The province boosted emulation of cities, counties, industrial establishments under a goal of aiding the metal industry in a bold manner while taking close measures for transport.

The officials and working people of the province collected lots of scrap iron.

On Jan. 1, they sent over 1 400 tons of scrap iron to metal factories.

Encouraged by their active aid, the workers of the metal industry are raising the fierce flames for increased production to attain this year’s goal of iron and steel production without fail.
