Officials and working people in the forestry sector, who have turned out in implementing the vital task set forth by the 9th plenum of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, bring about an upswing in producing logs.

Thus, they succeeded in producing thousands of cubic meters of logs from the outset of the New Year.

The officials of the ministry of forestry and the provincial forestry management bureaus established the revolutionary work system and order and launched the powerful operation and command, while arousing the enthusiasm of the workers with the front-style political work.

In particular, the Jagang Provincial Management Bureau brought good result in the log production.

The Hwaphyong Forestry Station and Kanggye Mine Timber Production Station also made successes in the log production by introducing rational cutting method.

Meanwhile, the log producers in South Hamgyong Province conducted actively the mass technical innovation drive, making innovations.

The workers of the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau including Paekam and Yonam mine timber production stations fulfilled their daily plan without fail by organizing felling and middle and last transportation suited to the conditions.

Also the forestry and mine timber production stations in North Hamgyong and South Phyongan provinces concentrated forces on carrying the produced logs.

Thanks to the ardent patriotism and devoted efforts of the log producers in the forestry sector, the successes in the log production have been expanded every day.
