A few days ago, Kim Kyong Sim, manageress of the Taedoksan Farm in Jangphung County, Kaesong Municipality, visited a bookshop to purchase new books on agricultural science and technology.

Though she is busy with her affairs, she would frequently visit the bookshop and a library to hit books and purchase them.

In her office room, there can be found books about the Party’s policy and common sense as well as especially many books on agricultural science and technology.

When a new book is published, she would hit it and prepare herself to answer any questions asked by farmers.

So she says that one can become a man of ability only when he studies harder with enthusiasm for fulfilling his revolutionary task assigned by the Party without fail; and for officials, books are as necessary to life as bread.

Now many other officials and agricultural workers of the farm are encouraging themselves to be masters of scientific farming, hitting the new books.
