First-Term Winter Camping Begins at Children’s Camps

The first-term winter camping of schoolchildren started at comprehensive bases for extracurricular life.

A ceremony of kicking off the camping took place at the Songdowon International Children’s Camp on January 9.

Present there were Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, Ju Mun Jin, chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People’s Committee, teaching staff of the camp and campers.

Meanwhile, a similar ceremony took place at the December 6 Children’s Camp in Kangwon Province on the same day.

During the camping, schoolchildren will spend pleasant days while conducting diverse activities including skiing, cooking practice, sports and amusement games and art activities.
