Successes Made in Coal Transportation for Thermal Power Stations

Workers of the Pyongyang and Kaechon railway bureaus made joint innovations in transporting the coal for the thermal power stations.

According to data available, they have transported thousands of tons of coal more than planned up to now since the outset of the new year, encouraging the struggle for increased production of the power producers of the thermal power stations across the country.

The Pyongyang Railway Bureau regularized and standardized the transportation so as to ensure an accident-free, on-schedule rail traffic while taking detailed measures for enhancing the traffic capacity of railway.

Also the transporters of the West Pyongyang, Pukchang and Sinsongchon service brigades of engine, too, have over-fulfilled their daily tasks by concentrating efforts on repairing and operating the engines, aware that the transportation of coal for thermal power stations precisely means power production.

Similar successes have been witnessed in Sunchon and Pukchang railway branch bureaus.

Daily Production Plan Carried Out without Fail

True to the idea and spirit of the 9th Plenum of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials and working class of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex make strenuous efforts to produce the custom-built equipment to be sent to power industrial sector from the outset of the new year.

The officials of the complex, bearing deep in mind that they assumed the important responsibility for producing various kinds of the custom-built equipment needed in increasing the electricity production systemically and safely, launch the operation and command for fulfilling the daily and weekly plans without fail in a revolutionary manner.

With this, they organize in detail the works according to the processes despite the busy conditions of making various kinds of parts to be sent to the construction site of the Tanchon Power Station No.1 and firmly keep supply of raw and other materials ahead of all undertakings.

In particular, they command the production in a responsible manner, taking the quality improvement as the main line.

Meanwhile, the workers of the sheet metal processing and assembling shops operate processing equipment at normal capacity in a responsible way, fulfilling the daily production plan without fail.

Coal Production Increases

Officials and colliers of the Tukjang Area Coal-mining Complex make successes in the coal production every day by displaying the continuous innovation and advance.

According to data available, the complex produced hundred and scores of tons of coal more than planned every day from the outset of the new year.

Under the guidance of the Party committee, the officials of the complex arouse the spiritual strength of the coal miners while explaining the idea and spirit of the 9th Plenum of the 8th WPK Central Committee among them and take proper measures on knotty problems at the working place.

The drive for increased production is conducted in the Tukjang Youth Coal Mine.

The officials of the coal mine take positive measures for increasing the coal production by making an effective use of the current foundation and strive to secure prospective coal beds.

Meanwhile, the Myonghak and Ryongsan coal mines, too, constantly expand their production successes.
