Scientists of the Ferrous Metal Research Institute of the State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK succeeded in producing a feed water pump shaft with domestic materials and technology.

The development of a high-performance water pump axle provided another material and technical foundation for ensuring the normal operation of existing thermal power generating equipment and stably increasing the power production.

Scientists of the institute are now striving to carry out another urgent research task with redoubled efforts.
