Reason Why He Was So Pleased

At the 9th Plenum of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un instructed that patriotism is feeling of love for everything valuably kept in mind of the person who was born and has grown up on this land and it is the ideological sentiments developed into the will to value, firmly defend and glorify them forever.

Chewing over his instructions, there is an unforgettable story.

One day several years ago the respected General Secretary visited a disabled soldiers’ essential plastic goods factory.

That day he learned about in detail the modernization and production looking round various places of the factory.

Looking at the modern equipment lined up at each worksite, he expressed his great satisfaction at the fact that the factory had renewed the old equipment with the new ones on the basis of advanced science and technology and introduced them into the production.

And then he highly praised the patriotism of the disabled soldiers who value all the equipment of the factory like their weapons and combat equipment and take good care of them.

Looking up to the benevolent image of the respected General Secretary who was so pleased with their deeds they should do, the officials of the factory kept in their minds the truth that when everyone values and takes care of even a tree and facility at their worksites, they can become genuine patriots.

Seeing One Equipment

There are large ranks of patriots with the warm mind to think the Party, revolution and country first and to be helpful for the country to relieve it of its difficulties in our country.

The call "patriot" conveys many touching stories.

One May day in Juche 105(2016), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un looked round the site of salt production with underground ultra-saline water.

Seeing the small water pump running smoothly, he asked an official how to pump the underground ultra-saline water out.

Listening to his reply, the respected General Secretary said to officials with satisfaction that the salt was being produced in heaps by using such a small pump.

After a while, he named the water pump "Aeguk(patriotism)-1" and said that it should be exhibited at revolutionary museums in the future.

Looking at even a small equipment, the respected General Secretary fathomed the warm minds of our soldiers devoting their wisdom and enthusiasm to implementing the policy of the Party for the people.

Thanks to his warm love, the large ranks of patriots are increasing day by day.
