More than 80 young people in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK volunteered to work at revolutionary battle sites and major worksites for socialist construction.

A meeting took place on January 15 to congratulate the young volunteers.

Present at the meeting were Om Pong Guk, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials of the youth league and young people. Certificates of petition were conferred on the volunteers and a congratulatory speech and speeches made.

Officials and young people in the province presented bouquets to the volunteers leaving for new revolutionary posts and warmly saw them off.
