Officials and working people across the country briskly support farms.

Those in South Hwanghae Province, the biggest agricultural province in the country, are raising their enthusiasm for supporting farms from the outset of the new year.

Keeping deep in their hearts the love and trust shown by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who highly appreciated the successes they had achieved in last year’s farming, the officials and working people of the province collected and sent a lot of urban manure to farms on Jan 2 and keep pushing ahead with the work to assist the farms.

In particular, overcoming deviations of last period, they prioritized quality rather than quantity and transported the manure to sterile fields. Paechon and Sinchon counties take lead in collecting manure. Meanwhile, the province is preparing medium and small farming machines and tools badly needed for farming.

North Phyongan Province provides labour assistance to farms as well as material assistance.

Last year, its factories and enterprises have energetically supported farms in improving and repairing waterway and water-secure facilities thus helping them to finish the work in the main. From the beginning of the New Year, not only the factories and enterprises but also every dong and neighborhood units competed each other in sending urban manure to farms. As a result over 200 thousands of tons of manure were sent to farm fields. Citizens of Sinuiju and Jongju gathered and sent considerable amount of idle materials needed for production of farming machine spare parts to relevant factories. Other cities and counties prepare small farm implements to send them to farms.

Other provinces and regions like North Hwanghae Province, North and South Hamgyong Provinces and Nampho Municipality also support the agricultural sector both materially and morally.
