One Calamity Follows on Heels of Another: KCNA Commentary

2024.1.18.

From the outset of the new year, the south Korean puppet group resorting to the saber-rattling against the DPRK is going reckless, begging for "cooperation" with NATO.

Shortly ago, those of the foreign ministry in the region of south Korean puppets invited the representatives of seven countries at NATO to hold a confab on the U.S. "Indo-Pacific strategy" and openly clamored to boost "substantial cooperation" with NATO.

Meanwhile, the top brass of its military asked the chairman of the NATO military committee for the expansion of "continued ties and cooperation" between the puppet army and NATO, talking about "joint counteraction" to cope with the strengthening of the self-defensive capabilities of the DPRK.

What NATO has done since the end of the Cold War between the East and the West are illegal aggression and interference against sovereign states, including former Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, committed under the control of the U.S.

However, the puppet forces are persistently resorting to "cooperation" with NATO in a bid to realize their ambition to stifle the DPRK by force even with the backing of NATO within the framework of the U.S. "Indo-Pacific strategy". At the same time, they seek to defuse the imminent ruling crisis even a little by hyping up "security uneasiness".

It is something understandable that the poor puppet regime, which stakes its fate on sycophancy and has no fixed views of its own, made such a burdensome "decision" under the pressure from its master. But it is so clear that such option will only worsen its ruling crisis caused by security crisis.

Actually, the puppet forces offered Ukraine many more shells than all European countries supplied to it as part of the "cooperation" with NATO to become a "state involved" in the Ukrainian dispute in name and reality. And they followed the U.S strategy for dominating the Asia-Pacific region by laying siege to China. Eventually, they became a shrimp involved in a fight between whales.

One calamity follows on the heels of another, and such impudent behavior may bring consequences worse than the expected.

Their worthless master, regarding them as a tool for carrying out its strategy, will never protect them in contingency.

The stooges should think first whether they can change their master’s intention - "if a war breaks out, it will be on the Korean peninsula and it is not the Americans who die in the war" - by becoming a shock brigade in realizing the U.S. strategy for hegemony.

If they seek a way out from crisis by dancing to the tune of others, they will be left alone in ever-worsening security crisis.
