To Make Our Children Value Own Things

We recollect with deep emotion the devotion and efforts of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who devotes his all to making our schoolchildren keep the patriotic mind from childhood whenever picturing the bright and valiant children in smart uniforms going to school shouldering “Sonamu”-trademarked school bags with “Mindulle”-trademarked notebooks and “Haebaragi”-trademarked school things.

One April day several years ago, the General Secretary visited the newly-built Mindulle Notebook Factory despite his busy affairs of taking the helm in the struggle for bringing 70-day campaign to a successful conclusion.

After acquainting himself with the notebook production situation, he earnestly said that to provide our children and pupils with quality notebooks is of weighty significance in instilling into them the spirit of valuing and loving our things.

Listening to one by one his saying, officials had recollected his instructions given while seeing a sample of notebooks and naming it “Mindulle”.

At that time, he had said that even when giving a name to any object, we should name it to make us feel the warm patriotism and national flavour, noting that when the “Mindulle”-trademarked notebooks would be produced in the factory, not only all the bags and school uniforms but also the notebooks might be our own things, and then, our pupils will have an idea that our own things are the best from childhood.

That day, looking up to the respected General Secretary, the officials felt deeply again that our schoolchildren will grow up firmly to be pillars of socialist Korea, who have ardent patriotism and are knowledgeable, morally sound and physically strong, under the respected General Secretary’s warm care.

Considering Their Warm Minds

It was one June day, Juche 102(2013) when the respected General Secretary visited the Pyongyang Condiments Factory.

While coming out of the room dedicated to the factory’s history after looking round it, he kept his eyes on the new species of turf planted beside the footway.

And then he said that the factory tended it very well and it looked like a carpet, expressing his great satisfaction.

Officials of the factory were wrapped in deep emotion because it was associated with the warm minds of the factory’s employees who have cultivated with sincerity.

Being informed that the employees have made it a part of their everyday life to plant turf and flowers in the compound of the factory voluntarily and clean the lawns and inside road even on the way from and to their worksites, he stressed that it is just Kim Jong Il’s patriotism.

Although he is busy with the state affairs, he personally tends new species of turf at his home; however, he expressed his satisfaction at their deeds, highly praising them.

Looking up to the respected General Secretary, the officials could not repress their emotion.

That day he implanted in minds of the officials that patriotism is love for our own things even though they are big or small and a genuine patriot is a person who loves his worksite as well as even a gravel stone and a single blade of grass with sincerity.
