Officials and working people in the electric-power industry, who witnessed validity and vitality of our Party’s policy on readjustment and reinforcement, put continuous efforts into the work for restoring original efficiency of the generating equipment this year.

Officials of the Ministry of Electric Industry, going down to the electricity production sites, organize and command the work while strengthening the collective cooperation with the workers and technicians of the relevant units.

Officials and workers of the hydropower stations make efforts to carry out the weekly, ten-day and monthly plan for readjustment and reinforcement.

The workers of the Suphung Power Station introduced rational jigs and equipment and thus opened the prospect of hastening the repair of generator No.3.

Officials, workers and technicians of the Hochongang Power Station also push ahead with the present production and work for readjustment and reinforcement.

Those of the Jangjingang, Thaechon and Sodusu Power Stations put spurs to restoring original efficiency of generating equipment by mobilizing reserves and possibility to the full.

The electricity producers of the thermal power plants also focus efforts on heightening efficiency of generating equipment on the basis of experience and lesson gained in last year.

The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex conducts the repair work of generator No.7 vigorously promotes the preparation for restoring original efficiency of generator No.3 in a substantial manner.

Other thermal power plants including the Pyongyang, Sunchon and Chongchongang Thermal Power Plants also conduct the work of heightening generating efficiency by correcting the defects.
