Now, Pyongyangites pleasantly make conversation about the open-air ice rink.

Since the end of last year when the news broke that an open-air ice rink was newly built in the downtown of Pyongyang Municipality, it has been visited by lots of citizens day after day.

Among them are not only young people, but also old people with their grandchildren.

Seen on the ice-rink are young people performing trick moves and middle-aged women learning skating from trainers; a crowd of onlookers gathers beside the rink.

A working youth said that he used to visit the ice rink on his way back home, adding that he gets rid of stress by skating.

The ice-rink is well-lighted and resounds with beautiful music. Kind servants and medical workers are waiting for their chances.

The country has taken every possible measure for normal operation of the open-air ice rink.
