A meeting took place at the Weightlifting Gymnasium in Chongchun Street here on Jan. 26 to announce the 10 best players and 10 best coaches of the DPRK for 2023.

Attending it were Premier Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, and Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Kim Il Guk, Chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee Kim Myong Gun and officials concerned and athletes.

Ten best players and ten best coaches for 2023 were announced at the meeting.

The premier awarded the certificates and sportswear bearing letters reading "DPRK’s Ten Best Players for 2023" and "DPRK’s Ten Best Coaches for 2023" to those who were selected as the best players and coaches.

At the end of the meeting, there was a congratulatory performance by the itinerant art squad under the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports.
