Devoting Sincerity to Rising Generation

More and more people are supporting youth shock brigade members in Jonwi Street under construction.

Among them are Kang Chol Sun and Pak Song Bong, old men living in Sopho-dong No.1 in Hyongjesan District and Jongo-dong No.1 in Rangnang District respectively.

Last year, Kang Chol Sun began to support the shock brigade members when the construction of new street in the Sopho area started. He prepared materials with sincerity and brought them to the youths. He also encouraged the youths while telling them about the feats performed by the young people of former generations. Pak Song Bong who knew Kang’s deed followed him saying that he would repair the young shock brigade members’ shoes.

While looking up to the aged persons who take it as a matter of course to implant the youths with the indomitable revolutionary spirit of former generations, the youth shock brigade members hardened their will to devote all their wisdom and enthusiasm to the motherland as those of former generations did.

Kindhearted "Parents" and "Brothers"

Ri Il Hyok, a graduate of an orphan’s middle school, is a student at Wonsan University of Education.

During the last winter vacation, his class teacher Jon Nam Sik took Ri Il Hyok from the dormitory to his home as he wanted Ri to spend delightedly the winter vacation.

He took care of Ri with not only teacher’s but also father’s affection and Ri spent pleasant days with the teacher’s family. His classmates also visited Ri almost every day to elate him.

Not only Jon Nam Sik and his classmates but also other teachers and students of the university took care of orphan students in their university.

Therefore, the orphan students say that during the winter vacation they had more parents and brothers and the teachers and classmates are their families.

Kind Server for People

In the Scientists’ Hotel in Pyongyang, there is a chambermaid Pak Un Ju who remains in guests’ memory.

She is an ordinary woman.

Then, why does everybody remember her?

Once, while talking with a woman, Pak came to know the fact that her eldest son was working at a construction site in Pyongyang.

Listening to her saying that she could not go to her eldest son because of her ailing youngest son, Pak visited the eldest son with aid materials she prepared and encouraged him.

And when a guest at the hotel was ill in bed, Pak, despite her busy work, devoted her sincerity to bringing the patient back to health while giving necessary medical materials and special dishes.

Whenever receiving greetings from the guests, she feels to the full her pride in her job.

Even now, Pak provides convenience to the guests visiting hotel, being aware that she is a server for the people.
