Posters on the 2nd People’s Art Festival for Celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, the birthday of Chairman Kim Jong Il, were produced.

The posters bear letters reading "The 2nd People’s Art Festival for Celebrating the Day of the Shining Star" and the emblem of the festival and its period.

A poster depicting the majestic appearance of skyscraping Jong Il Peak covered with snow with his birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp, clearly shows the noble loyalty of the people across the country to convey the immortal exploits performed by Kim Jong Il for the Party, revolution, country and people for all ages, born as the Shining Star of Mt Paektu.

Posters of the festival dealing with categories of art troupes and art squads depict artistes who are raising the patriotic enthusiasm and redoubled efforts of the Korean people through enterprising art activities.

There are also posters reflecting the optimistic appearance of itinerant art squad members and art group members who are dynamically ringing the sound of drum of revolution, adding vigour to the ranks of general march advancing along a broad avenue of prosperity opened by the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
