Sea Chilbo is a scenic spot which is famous for its sheer cliffs and singular islets, fantastic rock washed and worn by the sea, waves dashing against the crags and sea spray.

It has a natural monument Tal(moon) Gate.

It is an oddly-shaped rock as in the picture. Its gate is 10 meters high and about 5 meters wide.

The scene of full moon rise at the gate is so spectacular.

An old tale that a moon used to see sights of Sea Chilbo there in the daytime is handed down.

Tal(moon) Gate at Sea Chilbo is famous for its scenic beauty and is also of important academic significance in research of sea caves.
