The Jangsu Insam Processing Factory in the DPRK has made achievements in developing various kinds of liquid extract with red insam (ginseng).

The factory succeeded in producing liquid extract of steamed and dried Kaesong Koryo insam with the maximum absorption rate by applying advanced processing technology.

Liquid extract contains a lot of elements for boosting the human immunity. It prevents various diseases, and in particular, has good synergistic effect on the treatment of cancer, metabolic diseases and hyperlipemia. Therefore, it attracted the interest of healthcare experts at the 2023 national exhibition of scientific and technological achievements in public health.

Researchers intensify their research to produce various tasty and fragrant health foods by mixing omija (fruit of Schisandra chinensis), jujube, ginger and fruit of matrimony vine.
