Workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) met with lecturers of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum at the Central Hall of Workers on Tuesday on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army (KPA).
Present there were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, officials and members of the GFTUK and workers in Pyongyang.
Pak Yang Thae, vice-chairman of the C.C., the GFTUK, made a congratulatory speech.
Then, speeches were made by Pak In Ho and Kim Jung Rok, lecturers of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum.
They told about feats displayed in capturing an armed spy ship of the U.S. imperialists, which illegally intruded into the sacred territorial waters of the DPRK and committed espionage acts, on January 23, Juche 57 (1968).
They requested all the workers and trade union members to further brilliantly record the history of victory of Juche Korea by carrying forward the soul of the preceding generations.
Then, followed pledge-taking speeches.
