DPRK weightlifters bagged six more gold medals at the 2024 Asian Weightlifting Championships.

Ri Won Ju lifted 137kg in snatch, 180kg in jerk and 317kg in total in the men’s 67kg category and Kim Il Gyong lifted 103kg in snatch, 122kg in jerk and 225kg in total in women’s 59kg category, thus coming first in snatch, jerk and total respectively.
