The Pyongyang Municipal Industrial Art Exhibition opened on Feb. 7 to celebrate the Day of the Shining Star (birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il).

On display there are more than 300 designs which the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un personally guided.

True to the intention of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials, creators, designers, teachers, students and design fans in the fields of industrial art and education, industrial establishments, etc. in the municipality presented more than 800 designs, models, samples and products of various kinds reflecting the characteristics of the new era in which regions change, the era of great change towards the overall prosperity of the state.

The designs of construction machines reflect the aspiration of creators to contribute to realizing the Party’s cherished desire for the promotion of the people’s well-being, including the construction of regional industrial factories and dwelling houses.

Various designs of farm machines suited to the actual conditions of the countryside were presented to the exhibition.

The designs of indoor and green architecture were made to provide the people with beautiful and civilized living conditions.

Among the exhibits are trademarks, packagings, advertisements, signboards and font designs depicting the simplicity, concentration and symbolism by creators and design fans.
