On the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the heroic Korean People’s Army (KPA), all the service personnel and people of the DPRK pay the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who performed immortal exploits for the founding and development of the Juche-oriented revolutionary armed forces.

Commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence including Kang Sun Nam, Jong Kyong Thaek and Ri Yong Gil, commanders of the KPA services and the commanders of the large combined units visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche, on the occasion of the Day of Army Founding.

A floral basket in the name of the KPA was laid before the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The participants paid high tribute to the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in reflection of the unanimous mind of all the service personnel of the armed forces of the DPRK.
